Stolze (Netherlands), Prisma (located in Riga Plaza), Prisma Kirkkonummi (Finland), Sportshop Kesselin Urheilukauppa from Kirkkonummi (Finland), Maritim Park Hotel (Riga), Opera Hotel & Spa (Riga), Avalon Hotel (Riga), Forum Cinema (Riga), SIA Sportland (Riga Plaza), SIA Prizma (Volvo Ledus Halle), Company Cesu Alus (OHS) and Gemoss (also OHS) and off course all the parents and players from the teams who brought us so many gifts we offered the children of Dzeguzite a wonderful day they will never forget. You will find a full report complete with photos under the chapter "Charity projects". We choose once again for Orphan House Dzeguzite. More information of this Orphanage you will find under the chapter "Charity projects". Then we choose for another project. In the beginning of November 2011 we visited Raiskuma speciālā internātpamatskola - rehabilitācijas centrs in Raiskums, near Cesis, 90 km. from Riga. This is a bigger house with more than 100 children in the age of 7 till 17 years. 50% of those children are physically ill and 50% are mentally ill (and some children are both). They have a beautiful house, where they both live and go to school. But............ most of those children have parents, but sadly enough most of them don't look after them anymore at all! (http://www.raiskumaintsk.edu.lv/). Our first goal is to try to make a memorable day for the children of Dzeguzite and for the children of Raiskuma. Our second goal is to try to get as many goods as possible for those children. There is among other urgent needs for winter clothes, hats, scarves, gloves, boots, moon boots, sport shoes, simple games, inline skates (skeelers), and basketballs type 5 and 6.
        TOURNAMENT BROCHURE AND TEAMLIST We require a team photo from all teams. The photo will be published on this website as well as in the official tournament brochure. If you have one available you can foward it to us already. Please notice deadline to get it published in the tournament brochure will be January 24th - 2012. Names of the players will be published in the official tournament brochure as well. Please forward us your teamlist not later than January 24th - 2012. Please let us know if you have any changes prior to the tournament as we prepare the game sheets/protocols as much as possible before the tournament. Changes can be made up until 45 minutes before the first tournament game. No players can be added anymore when your first game has been started. Please include all your players you use during the tournament even if they miss the first game/day. HOTEL REGISTRATION LIST Our partner hotels requires all check in information not later than 1 week before arrival, so they can prepare everything before arrival to guarentee a smooth check in. We kindly request you to complete the registration sheet and return it to us not later than 1 week before your arrival. HOTELS RIGA CUP 2012 During the 2012 editon of the Riga Cup we will use Maritim Park Hotel and Tomo Hotel as our main hotels. During the 2012 editon of the Riga Cup we will use Volvo Arena as main venue. Furthermore games will be played in Inbox Arena and Akademija Arena as well. Additional information about the Arenas: Volvo Arena: Due to a lack of interest we have decided to cancel the U-11 tournament in 2012. Furthermore we have decided to accept some extra teams in the U-12 tournament. The U-10 tournament will be moved from March 30/31/April 1 to April 27/28/29. 2012 DATES Riga Cup dates for 2012 are known. March 30/31 & April 1: U-12
April 6/7/8/9: U-13 and U-15 (Easter weekend - 4 day tournament) April 13/14/15: U-16 April 20/21/22: U-14
